*The name of "G Suite" was changed into "Google Workspace" in October 2020.
If you are using the Cloud based office suite "G Suite" it is cumbersome to manage all the Users in a similar way in both G Suite and Questetra. You can import "Organization", "User", "Group" from G Suite via APIs and register them in bulk as [Organization], [User] and [Role] in Questetra.
1. Overview of Secure Intersystem Communication
- a. OAuth
- A mechanism where those who can log into two different systems can give permission for direct communication between those systems
- It consists of a system that requests communication, a system that responds, and one that manages the connection authentication
- It is also possible to cancel the permission later (according to the Settings on the responding system side)
2. Enable API access in G Suite in advance
- 1. Enable API access
- On the (Security Settings) screen enable API access in advance
- To set up the G Suite side Administrator Privileges on G Suite are required
3. Request Registration Information from Questetra to G Suite
- 1. Set the connection destination Domain
- Register your domain in the [G Suite Connectivity] settings menu (M309)
- 2a. Acquire the List of Organizations
- Click Confirm in [Import Organization List] within the [Organization List] menu
- 2b. Acquire the List of Users
- Click Confirm in [Import Users] within the [User List] menu
- 2c. Acquire the List of Groups
- Click Confirm in [Import Roles] within the [Role List] menu
- 3. Add / Update / Mark for Deletion
- Edit settings of the Questetra side based on the difference of information between both systems

- List candidates for "Addition", "Update" or "Deletion" based on the difference of information, then execute all or part of them
- One way data synchronization from G Suite to Questetra (Settings of the G Suite side never change)
- Questetra does not support "Multi-Domain"
- To Delete Users marked for Deletion, Click [Delete User] on each User’s detail screen
- To Clear the domain connection settings leave the [Domain] field blank and save it
