How to Fix Script Tasks that Issue Warnings about Deprecated Java Methods
This is a notice for application and system administrators who are using [Script Task] and [Service Task (Add-on)].
[Script Task] and [Service Task] can use Java classes and methods through JavaScript (ECMAScript). However, as technology evolves and Questetra improves, some Java classes and methods or some JavaScript execution engines (script engines) may become obsolete.
When using a Java class/method or script engine that is scheduled to be deprecated, a [Warn] (warning log) is issued in process logs. There is usually a grace period of one year or more between the announcement of a scheduled deprecation and the actual deprecation, appropriate measures must be taken to ensure the continued stable operation of workflow applications.
