Importing data into Table-type

Is there a way to import data from another service into Table-type data items in a Questetra app?

I'm trying to build an App and it would be useful if I could automatically populate the table with external data.

  To answer your question, yes, it's possible.

   

  You can use an automated tool that fills a Table-type Data Item with data from an attached file, known as the [Converter (TSV File to Table type data)].

   

  The key is sourcing your data and creating a TSV file. 

   

  For instance, if your data is in Google Sheets, you can manually select a range of cells and export it as a TSV file.

   

  This manual process can also be automated by using add-ons such as [Google Sheets: ValueRanges, Export as TSV] combined with the built-in [Generate Text File] feature.

   

  As long as you have your data in a TSV formatted file, you can populate a Table-type Data Item with it.
