- Question.
Can I post to the internal chat (Collab Chat) from the workflow operating screen?
- Answer.
Yes.
You can post messages linked to individual cases and view related messages.
Questetra comes with a built-in internal chat feature called "Collab Chat."
Collab Chat allows you to create channels for each organization, Workflow App, and case, enabling you to organize and share conversations according to their purpose. A key advantage is that it works seamlessly with workflows.
So how does this integration work?
The key is the "Case Channel," which is automatically created for each case.
Viewing Related Messages from the Workflow Operating Screen
When a new case is started, a dedicated Case Channel is automatically created for that case.
From the Task Operating screen, you can view conversations in the related Case Channel with a single click.
This allows you to check discussions that took place before the task reached you, as well as messages from colleagues who handled earlier steps in the workflow.
(Related messages can also be viewed from the Case Detail screen.)
Posting Messages from the Workflow Operating Screen
On the Task Operating screen, you can not only view messages but also post to the Case Channel.
Posts are automatically linked to the case's channel, so all related conversations are saved in association with the case.
Checking Case Details from the Collab Chat Screen
Messages posted from the Task Operating screen also appear in the Case Channel within Collab Chat.
Since the Case Channel is linked to the case information, you can easily access the Case Detail screen from the channel to review the details of the case.
All conversations are automatically saved as part of the case history and can be used for searching and reviewing past discussions.
